ABSTRACT

The social networking has changed life style of people, there is no any doubt that social networking has increased broader usability and acceptability and also attracted possibly the most important communication tools among people, students especially at the higher level of educational pursuit. As much as social networking is viewed as having joined the boundary in communication that created by in user choice. Inside the social networking sites Facebook is now more and more support facility of communication. Facebook is the modem online possibility for social interactions. Facebook activities are making lot of popularity among the young people and students. Educators and others are more engaged on Facebook. With 1.11 billion active users worldwide, Facebook usages may have some effect on people social lives. This study aimed to investigates effect of Facebook usage on academic performance students of the Quaid-e-Awam university of Engineering Science and Technology (QUEST) Nawab Shah. Study examined three major facets of Students Facebook engagement, time management, and self-esteem. These three are the major facets of students' life and mostly students are engaged on Facebook and give more time to online socialize and give less time for academic study, so Facebook engagement measured on simply measure online software and self-esteem is also examine on simply,
