ABSTRACT
A softwar fram work presented in this thesis, called Video Image Detector, is a tool that detects the copyright frames between two different videos. Video piracy is an issue in which some channels play unauthorized video files that may be copied and played illegally on the channel. This practice disrupts the rules and regulatory laws. By focusing on these piracy issues, video image detector helps to find out the copyright frames or capture videos which are played illegally on a channel. A number of detecting techniques are proposed in the literature; however, some limitations are still persisting inthis technique.
Hence a solution is recommended in this thesis in which two videos running at different time spot to find out the copyright contents. In this proposed solution, the aim is to find out the copyright frames between videos, and the technique used in this proposed solution is motion detection with back ground subtraction algorithm which is subsequently followed by color intensity and pixel-by-pixel comparisons.
