Gamification is the process of something that already exist, a website an enterprise application, an online community and integrating game mechanics into it to motivate participation, engagement and loyalty. Gamification takes the data-driven techniques that game designers use to engage players and applies them to non-game experiences to motivate actions that add value to your business.
Gamification plays vital role for evaluating performance of the employees. A model has been designed from gamification octalysis model. Designed model consists of key parameters that are used to implement to any organization in order to evaluate the performance of the employees. After designing model, an app has been developed in ASP.Net named as task management system. Developed app consists of key parameters used in gamification. Parameters include Points, Badges, Leader boards and Rewards in order to evaluate the performance of the employees. A task has been assigned to employees along with completion deadline. Performance of the employees can be evaluated by task completion within deadline. Finally, a survey has been conducted in order to check the usability of the app using SUS (System Usability
