ABSTRACT
Information is an imperative and lavish yield of the exploration process, choice making and overall control. There is a crucial piece of the proof and important to assess results. Correspondingly, databases are likewise developing as a key test.Electronic Data storage need keep on growing. Cloud computing is a model for empowering inexhaustible system access to a mutual pool of configurable processing assets. In the least difficult terms, cloud computing means putting away, getting to information, and projects over the Web rather than your PC's hard exchange. As the utilization of cloud computing services and its, cloud data management and cloud database management system (CDBMS) likewise get effected. The cloud computing is the best stage for the enormous database. However, in the same way information investigation and viable administration of information in cloud is a major test. Database management system (CDBMS as well as traditional) is additionally effected by diverse zones. As it is the wish of all organization s and database administrators that their database should work fast and respond well. Cloud is providing unlimited storage but there are few l imitations such as security and query response time. So in this research work our main goal was to differentiate the traditional and cloud computing storage with the systematic literature review and to measure the query response time of database system in three different servers including cloud server, local server and remotely connected server. Two different research methods are used in this work
i.e., systematic literature review (SLR) and experimentation. Through SLR, we have found that cloud database provide unlimited storage but facing the problems including security, query response time, and reliability. Furthermore, in this research, we have analyzed the query response time through experiment using SQL server for traditional and Microsoft Azure for cloud. Results show that cloud database having poor performance in terms of query response time as compared to traditional and remotely connected server database.
