ABSTRACT

With expeditious growth of information and communication technology (ICT), a normal person, as a part of global village, explores the world easily, efficiently, and pleasurably.. Persons with visual impairment face difficulties in accessing IC T Accessibility frequently focuses on the disabilities. These Pearson need a specific device or assistive technology that enables them to access computer and gets their desired goals accomplished..

The scope for this research will focus on the visual impaired persons at Special Education Institute based in Nawabshah- a district of Sindh province, Pakistan. Qucstionm1ircs and interview sessions have been conducted that have produced significant results and findings towards gaining inside in t heir problems and the possible solutions for the best usage of JCT among these special persons. This research also focuses on the comparison between two popular screen reader software tools for visual impaired persons:JAWS(Job Access With Speech) and NVDA(Non Visual Desktop Access). For this purpose, a usability test has also been conducted and evaluated by these special persons.
