Biosensors detect and analyse the biological and chemical materials that are root cause of abnormalities i n the body . For diagnosis purpose plasmonic biosensor. are widely ed nowadays. Mainly there are two types or plasmonic biosensor Β· which are used for the detection or biological materials: (i) Surface Plasmon Resonance ( .PR) based<br/>biosensor: and (ii) Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR ) based bio Β·en or. Each antenna (SPR and LSPR ) has some limitations. which limit he performance or plasmonic antenna based biosensors. SPR has greater sensitivity than L PR while LSPR is comparatively miniaturized. portable and inexpensive The detection range or LSPR is 0.1-1000 pM under optimal conditions. while. t he detect ion l i m it of . PR is 0.05ng/m L.<br/>I n this work effects of LSPR and SPR sensors arc combined to enhance t he performance characteristics of plasmonic biosensor. The combination or bot h PR and LSPR structures is known as plasmonic perfect absorber ( PPA ). This type or<br/>structure is suitable for t he improvement in performance characteristics of especially sensitivity or plasmonic biosensors.<br/> |
