Speed and Torque Control Of DC Series Motor By Using PLC - Nawabshah: QUEST, 2016. - 80P, :

ABSTRACT

A de series motor is a machine which operates on direct current from different sources. The de series motors are using where variable speed and torque are required . Automatic control engineering and scientific progress played a crucial role. Today in the industry, DC motor control is a common practice. Therefore, the actuator DC motor speed is important. InDC Series Motor a very large amount of current will flow because armature resistance of this motor is relatively small at initial stage, this will damage the commutator and brushes of motor. Therefore we need a method to control the amount of current that is flowing at initial stage which not only limit the value of current but also control the parameters such as speed and armature voltage of DC Series Motor. The other methods of de series motor are PI, PID, PWM, Fuzzy and Neural Network. The main purpose is to maintain the motor speed control motor at a predetermined rotational speed and a desired speed of the drive system. In the feedback control system speed of DC
