| 500 | _a ABSTRACT Now-a-days: an increasing number of Institutions and business organizations have embraced the concept of E-learning. E-learning authoring tools are used to develop e-learning courses. Choosing authoring tool is difficult among various e-learning authoring tools. In this regard, this research compared the features of three cloud based e-learning authoring tools and evaluated their usability in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and users' satisfaction. This study analyzed e-learning authoring tools such as Lectora Online, Easy generator and Garno authoring tool with 40 participants through usability test and system usability scale questionnaire. Our research findings, Lectora Online and Garno authoring tool has more features than Easy generator and usability test shows Garno authoring tool was good in efficiency and effectiveness. According to participants' response Garno authoring tool was excellent in SUS score which was 79, Lectora Online was good in SUS score which was 74 but Easy generator was satisfactory in SUS score which was 69, hence all e-learning authoring tools were positively respond in terms of users ' satisfaction but Gomo authoring tool was best one.
