Total six distinct SCC mixtures were prepared with the different dosages of fibers. Date palm fibers, ranging from 0% to 0.5% by the volume of concrete, were randomly added in increments of 0.1%. The study aimed to assess the influence of varying fiber content on both workability (fresh properties) and flexural performance of fiber reinforced SCC. It was observed from the experimental investigation that the addition of date palm fibers led to a reduction in workability, indicating the fibers' ability to restrict the flow characteristics (filling ability and Passing ability) of SCC. However, despite the adverse effects on workability, the flexural performance and the deflection of the SCC improved significantly with the gradual inclusion of date palm fibers. The outcomes of study confirmed a positive correlation between the percentage of date palm fibers and the flexural strength of SCC. Particularly, the maximum enhancement in flexural strength of the range was observed when the fiber content reached 0.5%. XV UR - https://tinyurl.com/6an4nzvm ER -
