ABSTRACT



Contemporary web is human oriented, it means that the data or information which is available on internet is only understandable for human being but meaningless for digital agents (machines) because information which is expressed on web is in unstructured format, hence to make it understandable for machines we need to put data or information in well-structured format so it can  be understandable both for machines as well as for human, Ontology which is known as backbone for semantic web is a knowledge engineering/knowledge representation method which can help knowledge engineers to put data in manner not only understandable for both human and digital agents but also automating, sharing and integration of knowledge across various applications. Ontologies are playing a vital role in semantically data representation with taxonomic categorization of data or information for different fields such as medical, engineering but here ontologies are used with bilingual (Sindhi­ English) flavor for lexical categorization with respect to grammatical classification of lexicon by using web ontology language(OWL) with the help of protege 5.5.0 version an ontology development and editing tool which is java based which will help machines to find out the word category of lexicon also help out two different communities to understand exact meaning and class of
word via bilingual ontology specially it will help Sindhi speakers to find the exact meaning of word who are novice in learning English In future it can be used for machine automatic translation and also compensate the ontology knowledge sharing concept.
