ABSTRACT

Human nature is different from person to person same as behavior are also vary from person to person it may regarding travelling. Though human belief may be biased and perceptions are used to control these behaviors that results constant period of beliefs. Such types of views have been challenged in many theories and tell that such behavior can be constant and habitual. In Pakistani universities student also possess various behavior regarding travelling. Due to such reasons, this research attempts to discover travel behavior of the students of university students by means of assessing their perception over the travel mode safety; and then to understand how such perception is shaped with respect to different factors. Therefore, a thorough literature review is performed to unveil the factors that play an important role in shaping the travel choice behavior of the university student. All such identified factors were then assessed through the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey was carried out at different universities . The questionnaire survey responded were then used to identify factors responsible for shaping the mode/travel safety at different universities. The thesis has then finalized safety perception models for each targeted university and for the different age and gender groups.</note>
