| General note | ABSTRACT

The use of mobile internet and wireless multimedia applications are developing faster constantly. To fulfill the user requirements and to beat the limits of existent wireless technologies, Researchers have decided to come up with extra innovative and efficient technology which refers wireless service in large or wide area. Wh ile Wi-Fi is mainly suitable for small areas and was designed pri mari ly for a LAN, W iMAX is based on the IEEE 802. 16e standards tech nology wh ich is best for wideΒ area comm un ications. W iMAX ell ipsis for World wide Interopera bil i ty for M icrowave Access based on Wireless MAN technology to provide h igh speed
internet connectivity i n the domestic as well as small and med ium sized busi ness areas. W iMAX can be used for a many appl ications such as several m i le broad band access, hotspot and cellu lar backhau l, and h igh-speed Internet connections distance up to the 50 km (30 m i les) with data rates 75(Mb/s) and Signals can reach over a d istance on 2 to 11 GHz bands. When these digital signals are transm it over a d istance it may be cause of noise, interference, and jitter. Signals may be d istort duri ng transm ission, recei ver and transm itter out of synch. It can harm the data or possi bi l ity of increasi ng or introd ucing error into the data. We evaluate the performance of bit error rate (BER) by varying SNR i n d igital mod u lation techn iques
at WiMAX network.

|
